Global issues: Deforestation
We should prevent in cutting down trees, because when you cut down trees there is a lower chance for us to breathe properly. trees are like oxygen tanks, as they are cut down the oxygen has lessened, the animals will also lose their homes, leaving them with no place to live. See how important trees are. Some advantages of not cutting down trees are, when there`s a typhoon; the roots of trees will sipping the waters. And when there`s a strong wind the trees are the one who will block the strong wind. So we need to protect our trees and we need to plant more trees. Just to protect our environment from the global warming.
join organizations, forest-preservation societies and pressure groups that aim to help preserve the rest of our natural resources. Reduce the use of artificial items like wood, paper, plastics and many other things we use everyday at home, by reducing it you can help to prevent cutting trees in the forests.
The one that`s cutted trees should replace or replant trees. We should plant more trees, because trees are essential to life. They create the very air we breathe and filter air pollution. Trees also help to reduce ozone levels in urban areas. They moderate the effects of sun and wind, and they clean the air by trapping dust, pollen and other pollutants. They provide shelter and food for wildlife. And lastly trees help us to relax, lower heart rates and reduce stress.

Global Happenings: Typhoon Glenda
One of the Global Happenings that our country had is the devastation of Typhoon Glenda. It was hit Philippines back at July 14, 2014. When it entered the Philippine area of responsibility, it is estimated a minimum speed of (120km/h;75mph). Typhoon Glenda is the first typhoon who hit a directly impact in the Philippines in 2014. Typhoon Glenda continued to strengthen, despite land interaction. Post landfall, the
storm's windspeed continued to rise, as it was located in a very
favorable environment. The seaports were immediately closed, more than 100 passengers were stranded at the port of batangas. Classes on all levels were reportedly suspended for the next two days while others are just one day of suspension only. The Philippine Coast Guard asked all shipping vessels to stop travelling. Based on Spokesperson Armand Balilo "Authorities are already on standby to
prevent any maritime vessels from sailing as the Philippines braces for
Glenda. All DILG offices in Luzon and Visayas was preparing for Glenda. Evacuation centers have been prepared the power lines, bridges and roads have also been checked. It was reported in the news were also giving some advices and tips on how to survive when the typhoon hits.
It was early morning of July 15, the government reportedly evacuated eastern coastal areas of the nation. Based on PAGASA "Storm surges up to three meters were expected in some villages". However, that evening, several residents fled their homes. In Bicol an interview said "We are preparing for the worst". About 6,000 residents had already moved to evacuation centers with authorities aiming to to have another 39,000 take shelter before typhoon hits. Several cities were warned of storm surge ranging from 1.5 meters .
After the landfall, three fishermen were reported missing. They were reported to have gone out fishing a day ago from the Philippine province of Catanduanes, and failed to return. At least 90% of the total residents of Metro Manila lost power, as poles and line were downed. Strong winds from the storm destroyed several homes in the capital. Most of the capital area was also completely shut down. As of July 17, the NDRRMC reported that the damages from the storm had reached 1 billion ($27 million).

Social Problems: Bullying
Another social issue that is controversy on us is most involved in students is bullying.
I can say that bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. Its behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying can be make such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. There are many roles that kids can play. Kids can bully others, they can be bullied, or they may witness bullying. When kids are involved in bullying, they often play more than one role. It is important to us understand the multiple roles kids play in order to effectively prevent and respond to bullying. There are many other types of aggressive behavior that don’t fit the definition of bullying. This does not mean that they are any less serious or require less attention than bullying. Rather, these behaviors require different prevention and response strategies. For me bullying is an act of seeking of someones attention or some people also do that because they are victims themselves. Lack of attention from friends, parents or teachers can make a person bully you, just to feel popular or cool. Here in the Philippines has a law Republic Act 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 signed by our president Benigno Aquino II on September 06, 2013. We should prevent bullying, because nothing good will happen to you from bullying peoples. So we should "STOP BULLYING".

Social Issues: Priority Development Assistance Fund Scam (PDAF)
Some government officials was involved in the PDAF scam like Sen. Bong Revilla, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and former senate president Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile and also his secretary Sec. Gigi Reyes who are all now in jail. Many people also reacted about this PDAF Scam and even they made a Million People March in Edsa just to abolish the PDAF. The money from this fund was paid by our parents. This event was unacceptable, because the money that our parents paying for these taxes was going to wrong people. We should know what`s the meaning of FAIR, because all peoples should be balanced from rich to poor.

Education: Experience in education
My experience in education was memorable, because in high school there`s a lot of contests to join like Chorale Competition, Pabula, Legend Making, Speech Choir and Dance Competition. I also experience cheering my section in the intramurals. I volunteer to join our basketball team but unfortunately i was declined to join. My long awaited dream to join the intramurals was broken. But still i`m chasing my dreams to join basketball team in college. High school days was awsome, because there`s a lot of changes in your surroundings like new friends, and that new friends in high school was Rommel and Aloysius. When i met them in third year high school at first were shy at each other, as the days passed we get each other closer and closer. Me and Aloysius were classmates in third to fourth year, and were like tandem when we have quizzes, seat works, projects and other activities that are all related in school until now, were still doing it; but i will not mention it. Me and Rommel were classmates in third year only. I met him when we have the same hair cut. We always go to home together, but after going home we always eat squids. I`m lucky to be a part of their lives, because when I get along with them, they always making me happy, they don`t want me to get home sad. that`s why I trust and love them
Education: The importance of acquiring it, Our Career Goals and Professional aims
This quote is based from Nelson Mandela, and my opinion about his quote is, he is right because education is the process of learning and knowing. It is a holistic process and continues through our life. Even the regular
happenings and events around us educate us, in one or the other way. An educated person has the ability to change the world, as he/she is
brimming with confidence and assured of making the right moves. The blog dwells on the importance of education in our lives. Why college education is important?
Students who gain a college education often have higher lifetime
earnings and a variety of other benefits, including a better quality of
life. More and more employers prefer to hire applicants who hold college
degrees. People who lack educational degrees are more likely to be limited to basic jobs in service.
I have a couple of goals in my life. My first goal is to finish my studies in college. College and high school were like the same because there`s always an assignments, quizzes, projects, and other exams. But studying in college is hard for me because the difficulty of the lectures are too confusing especially the maths subjects. I`m always having a hard time in solving the problems and sometimes I don`t know how to get the solutions but in life you should work hard to overcome your problems.
My second goal is to have a decent job. I chose Cruise Line as my course because working inside the cruise ship is a challenge for me. My third goal is to serve my family. Working for your family is hard nowadays. But if you`re determined to repay your parents you will push yourself to work hard. So I should study, dream and pray harder to achieved my goals. There`s no impossible to reach your goals when you`re happy on what you are doing.
